What happens if it rains?

Our performances in the Bishop's Palace take place outdoors but rain does not usually stop play! We are unable to refund tickets except in the very rare circumstances that the performance does not even start. Our resilient audiences come equipped for the weather.

N.B It never rains in Mathry Community Hall or the Bishop's Palace undercroft!

Should I bring my own chair?

We do provide chairs, but please feel free to bring your own chairs to the Bishop's Palace if you wish.

Are the shows suitable for children?

'Puss In Boots - And Cat Without' is a family show and is suitable for children of all ages. 'Twelfth Night' is one of Shakespeare's comedies and is appropriate for older children. 'Woven Words' is a performance made up of poetry and music and is suitable for all.

Can I book now?

Yes you can click here to buy tickets online. From July 28th we will have a box office situated outside the City Hall in St.Davids where you can buy tickets in person between 9.30am and 1.30pm. Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Palace, but must be quiet and controlled. Only guide dogs are allowed in Mathry Community Hall, sorry.

How accessible are the venues?

All of our venues are wheelchair accessible and have an accessible toilet. The Bishop's Palace has disabled parking next to the main entrance. If you would like to reserve a disbled parking space at Mathry Community Hall, please contact us in advance.

We want to make sure as many people as possible feel welcome at our performances, so feel free to contact us if you have any questions about access. How old is a child?

Babies aged 2 years and under who can sit on a lap are free. Our child concession tickets are for children aged 16 or below and still in full-time education. Our other concession tickets are for students (aged 16+), and anyone in receipt of state benefits (OAP, JSA, Disability etc).

Will there be refreshments available?

Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available for sale in the interval of every performance but you are welcome to bring your own with you if you would like to.
